
Wauchula Police attempt to identify burglary suspect
From the Wauchula Police Department:
On January 26, 2022 at approximately 5:15 AM, the Wauchula Police Department responded to 133 E. Townsend St. to the report of a robbery at a business. The suspect demanded money and then fled in a northern direction. No weapon was identified or implied. During the initial investigation, two separate individuals were detained and ultimately arrested on unrelated charges.
The Wauchula Police Department is asking for assistance identifying the perpetrator of the robbery who is described as a Hispanic male, 20-30 years of age, approximately 6 feet tall and 140-170 lbs. The suspect is described as having a Puerto Rican accent and a distinctive tattoo on his left hand as pictured above.
