Abused pups rescued in DeSoto County

From the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office:

These poor pups were found on SW Wisteria Street inside a plastic tote with the lid taped shut to prevent them from escaping. They were abandoned and terrified with only their urine-soaked blanket for comfort. We are very grateful for the concerned citizen who stopped to investigate the tote!

If you recognize these pups or their blanket, please contact Sgt. Bailey at the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office, (863) 491-6747, or submit a tip through our mobile phone app.

If you have a pet you can no longer care for, PLEASE contact DeSoto County Animal Control, (863) 993-4855, or a local rescue organization.

Adoption inquiries should be directed to Animal Control.
