SendMeMissions needs volunteers, and you can help!
From the SendMeMissions Facebook page:
WE NEED YOUR HELP…
It’s day 21 of disaster relief for Hardee County and we are exhausted. Our Non-Profits and Emergency Management are working extremely long hours and there is still so much to be done. Our community still has families living in homes that were flooded. There are still many roofs that need to be tarped. While some volunteer groups have been able to focus on tree removal, SendMeMissions hasn’t been able to focus any of our efforts on tree removal because of the enormous need to help families that are either displaced or living in uninhabitable homes because there is no where else for them to go. WE NEED BOOTS ON THE GROUND: Assessors, Admin, Muckouts & Spraying for Mold, Tarping, Tree Removal, Donation Site Sorting & Delivery, and much more. We have the supplies, but we need you!
Out of Town Volunteers: If you are located outside of Hardee County and are willing to help for a day, a few days, or even a week… We will make sure you are taken care of in Hardee County.
Locals: We know you are tired as well and are ready to get back to normal Hardee County Life in the most amazing Fall Weather, but if you find yourself with an afternoon or day to volunteer, we need your help too!
Schedule your visit by texting (863) 800-9654 and one of our volunteers will respond. Or if you are local, just check-in at 215 W Orange St, Wauchula, FL 33873.
*If we have not returned your call or email, please text (863) 800-9654 again. We are extremely busy and are trying our best to reply to all of the missed messages from the past 21 days.
Thank you in advance and to all of our amazing Volunteers so far, we are #BetterTogether!
